Nikki
Stone became America's first-ever Olympic Champion in the
sport of inverted aerials at the Nagano Olympic Winter Games.
Her performance was so unbelievable because less than two
years earlier a chronic injury prevented her from even standing.
Nikki Stone's tenacious perseverance and refusal to step down
from her challenges returned her to the top of the freestyle
skiing podium.
Nikki has enjoyed more than just skiing success. Nikki was
also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Union College in Schenectady,
NY. Her aerial retirement is less than restful, as she devotes
time to charities such as "Right to Play" and "Make-A-Wish
Foundation", trains other Olympic athletes in motivational
speaking skills, hosts group skiing adventures, and participates
in many sponsor promotions for major national and international
companies. You may have seen Nikki in one of her televised
commercials or in one of her many television appearances on
shows like Late Night with David Letterman and the Today Show.
Nikki is now a premiere motivational speaker residing in Park
City, Utah and still remains very involved with the Olympic
movement by sitting on eight different Olympic and Sports
Committees.
